Hi Dave.
I have someone claiming that they have a plant called Green Habanero. My previous thoughts were that all chiles mature to a colour other than green–some varieties never even have a green stage! But they swear that their pods never change colour. Is there such a variety of Habanero, and if so, are there any other chiles that have green pods when mature?

Jando:
Green is not a mature color in the Capsicum genus. You are correct in your comments. Some habanero varieties take a very long time to mature, like 180 days.
