Q: Dave,
I want to grow purple jalapenos in pots out doors. Can you tell me what size pot I need, and how many plants I can plant in one pot?
Thanks,
Gabe
A: Hello Gabe:
Generally speaking, the larger the pot, the better. This is because the roots can fill the pot, creating a large plant with more yield. Also, you don’t have to water the larger pots as often. Go with at least a 5-gallon pot, and no more than two plants per pot.
