Hello Sherry:
The best thing to do is a Google search of your product names. Be sure to put them in quotation marks so you are searching for a phrase. If you manufacture a product with multiple names, try searching for the key elements. Usually, generic names such as Spicy Peanut Sauce cannot be trademarked. However, a more specific name, such as "Sherry’s Spicy Peanut Sauce," might have a trademark. You can also do a search at the Patent and Trademark office. See www.uspto.gov
