Q. Hey Dr. BBQ:
Will your new book be out for Christmas? I have your first book great book. I started doing BBQ contests with my dad in 2005. We have done really well in five contests and we have gotten at least two calls at every contest. The bug has bitten us bad we already bought a 35 foot RV to travel to contests with hope to do alot more contests in 2006. I’m a fireman in Omaha, Neb.–if you are ever out this way give me a shout. I enjoyed your first book can’t wait to get the rest of your books. Thanks again.

Sorry but my new book Barbecue All Year Long won’t be out until April 2006. Glad to hear you’ve caught the bug. BBQ contests are great fun. It doesn’t look like I’ll be doing any classes in Nebraska this year, but I will be doing one in Boise in March, so get in that new Motor Home and come on out.
