Q. Dr. BBQ:
I live is South Florida, Deerfield Beach exactly. I’m new to BBQ, this is my first summer of Qing. Got my first smoker, a SNPP. I dont know where to buy wood. The charcoal I buy is hurting my flavor. I’ts hit or miss, with hood. Chips are all I can find and I need logs and chunks of oak.

Try looking for a tree trimming service. Many of them sell wood, and should be able to supply you with a specific type of logs. In Florida, oak is probably going to be plentiful. If it”s chunks you need, call my friends at http://hawgeyesbbq.com and they can fix you up with any kind you want. (I like cherry.)
